Dresscode Nation website launch party

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited to Dresscode Nation's website launch party along with my friends Christine, Ana and Shante.

Dresscode Nation is a new fashion agency platform for people to find local creative talent to help your business. The idea is to connect different talent from different sectors to make your business work. Be it, photographers, bloggers, events managers, or stylists, Dresscode Nation aims to put everything into one place so you don't have to. The agency is managed by JPJ media and it was lovely to meet the people behind it.

Christine, Ana, myself and Shante.
The event itself was to celebrate the launch of the website. It was held at the Nylon bar located inside The o2 in London. There were lots of people from different backgrounds and it was great to network and chat with everyone. We were treated to drinks and a jam packed goodie bag. The venue itself was beautiful, based on an airport themed design.

TrekAmerica 2015/2016

Over New Year's I did a road trip on the West Coast, USA.
It was honestly one of the best weeks ever and I have no regrets...
I went with a tour company called TrekAmerica. They offer small group tours around the US, Canada and Alaska. They do tours from 3 days up to 80 days, so there's something for everyone whatever adventure you are after!
I started my tour in San Francisco, then went to Yosemite, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and it finally ended in Los Angeles. It lasted for a week and I went by myself but was surprised at how quickly the group bonded! Since the trip, I have kept in touch with majority of the group.
Here's some snaps from my time on the West Coast...

Lumiere London

Lumiere London is a new festival happening in London during January 2016.

A series of lights, street art, and interactive activities curated by Artichoke features works from Julian Opie and Janet Echelman.

The event will be taking place across the West End and King's Cross providing relief from the winter blues and new ways of viewing the city.

The installations revealed so far are the Garden of Light by TILT, which is situated in Leicester Square where giant illuminated plants will be showcased, an Aquarium by Benedetto Bufalino, which will see a phone box in Mayfair become a pop up aquarium with different types of fish.

The event is free and takes place between Thursday 14th January until Sunday 17th January 2016.
